Beijing is in Hebei Province. This tour spent one day in this beautiful capital. For those who had not been in Beijing before, they booked a flight to arrive before us. This was a very nice day, all blue sky, no pollution in the air. It cleared the name for Beijing as a city in the world with the worst air quality. The grand Forbidden City was partially under renovation, but the major attractions were not affected when we were there. The tour of the Forbidden City was followed by a home cooked lunch inside a house located in the Hutong area, which has seen a lot of changes and become more and more modernized.
