Ceilings

Architectural photography is one of my interests—covering both exteriors and interiors. When photographing interiors, I have a particular fondness for ceilings and intrados (the inner surface of an arch, vault, or dome).
Here is a selection of my preferred shots.

The Catholic church in my hometown of 5,000 people had spectacular paintings of Biblical scenes painted on the ceiling in a major refurbishment of the huge dominant building in the town. Seeing your gallery brought it all back. Excellent gallery! V

What a lesson to learn from you Denise: look up to see what is waiting to be discovered! There is such a variety of architecture, colour schemes, artwork and lighting to be appreciated, glad that you have captured them and share them for the world to enjoy, well done!
