I'm being forced to learn more about my digital SLR, since my point and shoot is gone to the camera hospital. So I'm practicing with DOF. So far, so good.

I probably burned thru a few thousand shots during the first month or two with my first dslr. Have fun with it. Practice everything now so when you need to make a shot under pressure, you know exactly what to do.
