Enora était une princesse galloise du V ème  siècle, Elle se fiança à saint Efflamm, mais celui-ci avait fait vœu de chasteté et lui proposa donc de vivre avec elle comme avec une sœur afin de se consacrer à Dieu. Cependant, le soir de leurs noces, Efflamm ressentit un tel trouble devant la beauté d'Enora qu'il dut s'enfuir pour ne pas succomber …
Peu après cependant, elle rejoignit son époux .
L’histoire ne dit pas s’il lui résista une fois de plus, toujours est-il qu’ Enora représente la sainte des nourrices.

Enora was a Welsh princess of the fifth century, She became engaged to St.Efflamm, but he had taken a vow of chastity and so proposed to her to live like brother and sister in order to consecrate himself to God.
However, on the evening of their wedding, Efflamm felt so disturbed at the beauty of Enora that he had to flee in order not to succumb …
Therefore, soon after, she finally joined her husband.
The story does not tell if he resisted her once again…
Later Enora became the saint of nurses.
