I have taken pictures of some strange "plant" toadstool, mushroom or what, I have no idea. I took the pictures so I can take them to the extension office to ask if they can identify. I have just found this site but don't see anything like my picture. Any ideas? Could I send a picture?

I have recently seen in my garden amongst the shingle some toadstools that i cant find any thing to identify.i dont have a camera.they started off red on top with a mustardy yellow underneath.this with all the rain has curled up like a sponge.they are fairly big .i have never seen these before but have children and pets.i am woried as to how to get rid of them and what has caused them.i have searched through many pictures but am not computer confident.i saw this sight and wondered if you could shed any light.many thanks.
