Thanks Stan and Mary Anne. And yes, when Ryan is casting you should be ducking. -COAmature

What a fun shot! This one deserves my vote!

This is just a great shot, COA. It has a wonderful kinetic feel...I almost feel as if I have to duck out of the way of the lure.

Oh, you meant THAT end. Well since Rod let the cat out of the bag already, I did clone out a small piece of string I used to hold that little guy still. Thanks TV, I've never been accused of being brilliant before. -COAmature

Good job on the cloning Doug. Hey, line, sinker, clone - wot ever it takes to get the winning picy :)

This cracks me up. Brilliant idea combinjing macro and depth to the maximum - no, beyond it - which makes it funny. Gets the prize for most creative and because of its uniqueness and execution, memorable. - tv

I think Sue Anne means this end of the line Doug:-) I think he had a line tied to the hook Sue Anne & then cloned it out. Doug is always cheating:-)
ctfchallenge14-May-2007 05:43
Thanks for the comment Sueanne. The fishing line is actually on a fishing pole. There just isn't enough detail left with the DOF to see it. -Doug

Very nice idea Doug.
(Now how did you keep that line straight? ;)
Great DOF for the front and can see your son in the distance.

Thanks for the comments guys. That little guy caught me at least 50 northern pike on a canadian fishing trip a few years back with my dad and brothers. Those scratches on the underside are from their teeth and the bent hooks show how strong those fish can be. -COAmature

Very cool, Doug!! Great idea! Hope you didn't bend that hook too much ";^) Cheers, -mikey

Wonderfully creative, Doug! ~Sharon

great pic - what do you catch with that sort of thing?
Rod 12-May-2007 04:14
:-) very well done Doug it works really well. The other thing I like is the size of the hook thingy in comparison with your son on the end of the line. A lighthouse will work wonders in that bright spot Doug, the only drawback is you will have to run the next challenge:-)
Brent 12-May-2007 03:56
Way better Doug- I can see now! You know just a thought seeing it again, you might want to work with that bright sky to reduce its distraction. Maybe a crop, or a burn or clone in a lighthouse ;-)

Oops. Uploaded the wrong file. This better? -Doug

This is lots of fun Doug! Shows great creativity. How come the image is so small- even with all the grass it seems you could still make it larger and be under 150K? Well done.
