Thanks Rod :-) I try not to post the same image too many times in either gallery- especially concurrently. That one in CSLR exhibition is from this session, but a different shot up closer to the end of the bridge where distance isn't suggested enough for here I think. B/W would have worked good here too I guess, but I like that the two images aren't quite as similar this way.

I really like how the red building looks in the B&W version over at the other challenge Brent. The B&W does look good too.

Nice shot Brent. Like the shadow play and lines. - RK

Thanks Doug, I guess you could say the whole bridge acted as a nice light diffuser.

Man I love to see such a difficult shot so well resolved. You're a real Frank Stella, man. What a melange of conflicting angles, shadows and patterns. A fraction of an inch off and this is a stinker. I like the brick building because it provides a counterpoint of traditional form. It sits comfortably in the background keeping this flighty mix solidly earthbound. P.S. Technically amazing in my book. -tv

I've nothing against the brick building as it looks like a good building for picys it's just that it stops this shot from being a sort of surreal shapes & light thingy, but that wasn't your intention with this shot anyhow. It still works very well.

Great wide, I love the diagonal

Thanks Rod and GSB. Maybe it doesn't look so great from this angle, but that brick buiding is actually not so bad looking Rod. I did shoot some over to the right as well, but this angle seemed to flatter the foot bridge better. I especially liked the light play off the steel cables on the left. I had some other frames where that area looked really wild, but maybe drew too much attention away from the guy in the yellow vest at the other end.

Love the shadows and the lighting to the left and the roof.

I really like the shade stuff & shadows but not so keen on the red brick building. Is there a shot here if you got over to the right railing & angled your camera left to just get the shade cloth & shadows? Maybe we would see too much through the left shade stuff then:-) Still it works well for the challenge mate:-)
