Thanks for the comments, i was concerned about knocking the arm and scratching the trecord or worse, busting the cantilever of the cartridge so took a few shots with the arm slightly raised off the record but it looked fake so i placed the needle down and worked veerrry carefully:>)

The album is Wavelength by Van Morrison and we're getting to the end of the last track on side 2 which is Take It Where You Find It and no doubt my feet were tapping and i was singing out of tune.

Clever and very nicely done Paul. It's really pretty cool that little G6 can shoot f2.0, you don't see that in many of the newer point and shoots.

Really like this shot and the depth of field on the end of the arm. I couldnt bring my self to ditch my q deck and suspect that it will sit up in the loft with the boxes of vinyl, causing a bow in the roof over on the kids bedrooms, for decades until someone less nostalgic will bin it!

No one will know wot this is but they should see the distance along that fine arm. Nicely shot mate. I don't know how you can touch this fine piece of engineering wiv your big calloused hands, Emma told me how rough they were.
