Very imaginative, it really makes the viewer feel as though he/she is falling.

this is so cool. tight hands add the tension to this already scary shot. nice work. -Abstract

Wow - This looks very scary! It definitely is "down" and you really went to a lot of effort for this shot. Good one! CJ

Nice perspective, although I hope you didn't hurt yourself taking this picture :).

Blade, your description of how you did this is making me nervous. Please be careful!

Appreciate the comments everyone. I tried a re-shoot today and failed miserably; the lighting was all wrong. So I may do another take yet before the challenge is up if the opportunity presents itself. For those interested in how I actually took the picture. Take a look at the pictures below.

After getting exposure the right, I wrap the camera strap around my head which causes the camera body to press right up against my mouth. With the timer on, I lean over the edge with both hands stretched out and hope it turns out.

Good shot, Blade. It reminds me why high places make me nervous.

Nice image and idea blademeister. Just a thought if you do reshoot; I wonder if a more contorted look to the hands might add more drama?

I may re-shoot this. In take after take, I could never get the arms and hands just right.
