Thanks all.
The "squishy" mud as CJ put it ...is acutally the sea bed. This was taken in the Bay of Fundy region (Five Island Provincial Park in NovaScotia, Canada). The amazing thing was...the water/sea receded atleast by about half a mile (may be more) right in front our eyes (probably took couple of hours) and we were walking on the sea bed looking for fossils/clams. This happens everyday and the water recedes back by nightfall.

Very nice RK. The color of the sand is highly unusual. Where is this? -Cat

Terrific shot RK! The colors, composition and perspective are all really nice. I like how you can tell by the footprints that the person (child) leaped over the dog prints as if to not mess them up. Cute! I bet it felt good to walk through that scuishy mud! :-) CJ.

The thumbnail does not do this one justice. Wow, some red "sand" here. Yvonne

I don't know why but I really like this with the legs cropped out. Great looking shot:-)

What a wonderful shot. The color, the texture of the mud, the hurry in the figure leaving frame, the angle. All add up to something wonderful!
