Thank you all. The shot was taken in sunlight streaming through a window late in the day. I cleaned up the shadow by hand to get it sharp all the way round. I also replaced the original background, which was white. Edges of the capsicum do look a bit soft, but I think that is a result of light reflecting up onto the sides.

Love the colors here and the concept. Find the pepper to be a bit soft. (the shadow is tack sharp),
Did you over-sharpen this by any chance?...just curious.

This caught my eye by the thumbnail immediately! I have been wanting to do a nice red pepper shot and you have given me new inspiration by entering this image. You HAVE TO LOVE the shadow play here. Applause!!!!! Great job Nifty. jano
