I really like the color and clarity of this image. I'm not seeing the oversharpening on the breasts. Possibly, I know not for what to look. The detail I see is very fine. Excellent photograph.

These are just beautiful. Paty

The plastic look has gone & the heads look great now but there's an over sharpened look on the breasts now. Was this there before Gerald? Can you just select the head & wings to do your magic so it won't affect the breasts. Gawd the heads look fantastic. Well done Gerald:-)

Thanks, Rich, Rod and Britt. I have made some adjustments in order to improve details and to get rid of the plastic look.

SUch beautiful birds! Great picture all around :)

Indeed it's a lovely shot but it's a shame some details got lost as the heads & back look like plastic. Fantastic looking birds.

Gorgeous!

Ann, this pond is in our zoo in Augsburg, Germany. The ducks have an interesting pattern of fine wavy lines on the wings but the details get lost due to the 150 kb limit (even on the original, it is barely visible).

Ann, these are Mandarin Ducks (I had to consult Wikipedia to make sure). Funny to see that we were uploading our duck pix at the same time.

Forgot to ask, where are they? And mention how great this photo is. Love the sharpness of focus on both birds. Ann C

These are gorgeous. Are they Harlequin Ducks? Ann C
