Thanks everyone. Yes Mary Anne, I took this from a chair lift about 20-30 feet up. Britt, yes skiing is a great escape. Unfortunately I have only a few ski pics cause I worry about dropping my cam or falling on it. Its over for this year in VT so I'll work on it next year :-)
I really like this one. Love the simplicity of composition and the great use of color and texture. I'd not crop it myself as I think the snow really adds to the composition and textural quality of this. Ann C

The contrast of the vibrant colour against the white snow works really well. Might have been tempted to crop out some of the snow from each side. But on the other hand the image is nicely balanced the way it is.
Great shot, Rich. Was this taken on the ski lift? It looks as if the snow is far below. Makes me dizzy.

Wow, how this makes me miss snow skiing. :::sigh::: I haven't been for 15 yrs. Hope you had a great time and please share more skiing pics with me so I can live vicariously through you!!!

Nice shot Rich, the snow on the skis look really good as does the texture in the snow. A goodun mate:-)
