Great picture, perfectly composed and cropped, love the shot of colour from the cubs logo...

The bleeding Mono Liza only has one focal point yer silly git. It's her face. I know some uncouth Galahs eyes start on her breasts then up to the face that has that lovely half smile & eyes that follow me all round the room. She doesn't have a bleeding baseball team logo on her dress to get attention does she.
Anyhow Jano this shot does work fine as it:-)

LOL Thanks Rod and Paul - I think Paul does know best on this shot. I think if the bottom was cropped out it would lose some of the fun it portrays... for me, it would just be "missing something". I think i will leave it alone... :) jano

Nonsense Rod. Your whole attention is drawn first to that fabulous eye which leads down to that mischeivous face. The hands work as a superb frame for that gorgeous face and the Cubs just add to a sense of cheekiness and the aforementioned mischief. Does the Mona Lisa have one focal point you silly old sod? next you'll be suggesting moving the eye to a third rather than the centre.
I hate kids as i'm a miserable bugger but Janos daughter is a cracker. How can you crop this? Leave it alone.

With the blurred hands framing the face the eyes have to fight whether to look at the well lit in focus face or the well lit in focus cubs logo. Two focal points can be a problem even though we have two eyes they can't go in different directions at the same time.
You can never go wrong if you just do the opposite of wot Paul suggests:-)

Thanks all for the kinds comments - She is too goofy and quite the ham.... I will consider a crop, but I hesitate on this one. I can see the point, but with the Cubs shirt it also makes a statement. Hard call... I will consider. jano

Love this shot of Amber, Jano. She's so goofy! _ Britt

Excellent. Needs no cropping on my monitor, it all works perfect for me.
Rod 14-Apr-2006 06:01
Yes I think the crop will work too. Nice one Jano:-)

Very natural and expressive.
Find it much more effective (been scrolling this picture up and down on monitor) when the CUBS is not in frame...crop to just below the right palm...just my opinion.

Cool, two hands, two eyes and a nice smile.
