This one definitely called to me to be tilted. I just screwed up and added a little bit more rotation in PS, which I shouldn't have done. I didn't quite get the angle right in postprocessing and that's also causing the problems with the mis-crop that kills the focal point at the end..... yeah, fiasco! It happens. : \ ~ Lonnit

I like the bright yellow colors, but kind of agree with the vanishing point being gone. Your eyes kind of play tricks on you when you look at this image with all the yellow thingies.

Lonnit, This seems to fall into the category, tilted to tilt. ( for the challenge). I understand, as coming upon an image that makes that call in a 10 day period is not always easy. Yvonne

Lonnit - I think with a little less tilt this may work as then the focus might be where you would want it to be. My eyes are drawn right up to the sky, past the beams. The yellow seems much too saturated as well. And the blues of the first beams and cart are maybe a little too saturated. I think it would have potential but it doesn't work for me in this particular image. jano

What are you apologizing for? You're totally right. ~ Lonnit

It's not the tilt that bothers me. It's the vanishing point. The bright areas draw my eyes to the right, past the vanishing point and out of the picture entirely. I'm not finding any strong elements to capture and hold my attention. The repetative bright yellow column bases just emphasize the motion to the vanishing point.

Sorry, Lonnit, this just doesn't work for me.

Funny you should say that. It was actually shot with a little less tilt but when I processed it, I turned it a little more so the shadowed area ran more parallel with the bottom of the frame. Guess I should have stuck with my first instints. Thanks. ~ Lonnit
