She had a stroke at that tender age??? No wonder she's feeling melancholy. I hope that she's doing OK now.

At the time, that would make her about 7 years, this was not taken that long after her stroke.

This is such a wonderful portrait, one that I suspect has much more impact in b & w than in color.
