A bit sinister colors and shapes here. I find myself disturbed by the black space in the middle of the glass

Yes, I like this better too. I think I'd like it even better if you removed all the background lights from the original shot and left a lot of "black space." Dorys

"For relaxing times, make it Suntory time." ... imho should be the title :)
i love the mood this shot conveys. wtg RK. -Abstract

Ok, seen it in exhibition. Agree, I like that a little bit more..without the spots, though.
Guest 01-May-2005 18:28
Excellent colors, don't see the red spot, though. Did you repost?

This is a nice photo of a glass with interesting colours and textures and i;m impressed that you can hold your fingers still for 2 seconds but the other shot drew me in and made me think and gave me a feel that i don't get with this. I spend most of my evenings listening to music through headphones with a 3 valved headphone amp that glows beautifully in the dark so i could connect very well with the one you previously had in Eligible. I can see how others might not make the connection but i far preferred the other in the mood i got from it. What to do eh? :>)

I agree about the move to Eligible. No offence, but this above photo has way more impact than the one in Eligible. But, I still think the red dot should be removed.

Lose the red dt and stick it in eligible. Real high impact shot. First rate.

Thanks eosman, photonut, rod and cat for the comments. Good eye Rod, the black ice is a piece of rock from the garden. I was going after the "scotch on the ROCKS" effect, but just could'nt get the picture I wanted.

Cheers! The crop looks good.! -Cat

If you can have black ice I suppose there's nothing wrong with a red dot is there:-) Looks good in an abstract sort of way.

Nice shot, but that red dot in the upper corner is very distracting
Guest 29-Apr-2005 02:38
Nice colors. What's the red dot in the upper left hand corner?
