Morning Walk

Alexandra Hills

A typical Sunday morning in my street, me wife sends me out for a walk & when I get back I have to cook the breakfast. I'm the boss in my house & I only go for Sunday walks & cook the breakfast because I want too :-) My house is on the right where the first trees are & red bush thingy. The bush on the left is about 100m wide with another housing estate there. It's where the Koalas breed sort of around Xmas time & we can hear their mating calls at night sounds sort of like an effeminate pig. We occasionally get Koalas on our fence (well three times in fifteen years) we are 25klm from Brisbane city & about 8klm from Moreton Bay, we have no surf beaches here because of the bay islands. We have to drive 60klm south to the Gold Coast & about the same north to the Sunshine coast.

LOL!!! This one is hillarious ... right on topic, with lot of latitude. I am glad the host has kept it in, considering the number of request to move it out ;-)

You are lucky to have this weather. Nice shot.

I'm surprised that one of the few girls that actually posted an on topic shot wouldn’t see the subtle greatness in this fine work. I had to drive all over Brisbane to find a nice street to lay in without getting arrested:-). ............yes it really is me street before you off topic chasers jump in:-)

Hmmm.....this could be the street that runs behind my house, or any street anywhere in Australia. Where is the jounalistic aspect (aside from the fact that you are reading a newspaper)? I agree...this isn't really on topic and should be moved to pending ;-)

I so miss the green grass. You see Rod, your shot reminds me of how it's always nice and nice warm(and sometimes hot!) in Australia.

Good on topic shot. I like the concept of it. You know, if you had a 20D we could have read the paper too!

Hmmm, are you sure it is on-topic?? This could be a street anywhere! I'd say the host should move this to pending :)

This is the best entry yet Rod, well done. Are you a bloke or a girl? The commentary is superb & the first art shot that stays on topic. You must be very talented with the camera & the pen. I think we have just seen the winning entry. & welcome to the challenge Rod:-)
