"Ticking away, the moments that make up the dull day" (pink floyd)

Closeup of the seconds area of a fob watch. I have deliberately left the corners dark (vignette), as if looking through an eyepiece.

This was done late last night, and I can already see ways of improving the shot, so perhaps a placeholder unless there is a groundswell of "dont change it".

I think this is my favorite so far. Excellent (including the play on words)!

The aged look with a hint of softness, low saturation and vignetting/shading at the corners all work together. The surface texture is quite interesting and the level of detail is astounding. I also like the movement of the arm. Well done.

I give you major kudos for quoting Pink Floyd!!! Nice job. As for a critical comment, I defer to those who are more experienced. I like how you've shown the movement with the second hand yet the hour hand is in good focus. Seems like a difficult shot to get right. I'm curious as to what others think.
