If I'm new to digital photography.... I'm REALLY new to astrophotography. This is my first posted pic.

Looks better if viewed "small"

Canon PowerShot G3
16x1/60 sec, F5.6, afocally connected to LX90, stacked in Registax and processed a tiny bit in PS full exif

Thanks Gayle. This astro photog stuff ain't easy. practice, practice, practice. Thank God the film is cheap! LOL

This is really amazing Dorys! I am totally impressed by anyone who can do this. I tried to shoot Mars and all I got was a pink blob! Mind you, I don't think the 3X zoom on the A70 was quite up to the task.
