The grain is natural, shot at ISO1600. It was quite grainy. I ended up using one of photoshop's artistic filters to make it look like a painting. It looks nice close-up, but in the smaller size to fit here it actually sharpens it up a bit and eases up on some of the grain. Grain is so tough to work with in color b/c you end up with those red/green speckles. I really prefer working with it in b&w.

I was going for the X-mas card look, so I'm very happy you said that. :)

Thanks! ~ Lonnit

This one has a classic feel to it. I think you did a good job with the framing and composition considering the high level of detail in the environment. The grain is a nice bonus and the colours are warm and rich. Well done.

This is beautiful, Lonnit. It looks like and old fashioned Christmas card. I love the grain! Did you add that in PS or shoot at a high ISO?

This was so incredibly difficult to frame! He was behind a window with tall, narrow panes which made balancing the shot extremely hard. Attitionally, I had to shoot from an angle, which added perspective to the window, making one side larger than the other. I thought shooting it was tough! LOL! ~ Lonnit
