Misplaced Childhood*

Ok. So it's the usual iso white thing. Couldn't help it. I finally bought the lights I've been lusting over for months so I just had to do it.

Fixed. I was thinking there must be a way (like making it a negative or something) that you could spot these things, but I haven't figured it yet. Probably varying contrast and brightness up and down would do it. I thought you had lights before? What do these ones do? Maybe a bit off-topic for me to ask these in the galleries :)

Nope. Haven't got the monitor yet. Blew all my cash on lights :-) Can't see the area you mean here. Couldn't pick it with the eyedropper either. Burnt it out anyway (guessing) Is it gone?

Just going back through galleries again Iso and tut tut I don't think you bought that new monitor yet ? You've missed a bit in editing the image - its hardly noticable but there's a large bit of off-white to the right of the left image (touching the bottom I think). Otherwise perfect. Paul D.

Iso, would also love to know how you get those seamless backgrounds (PS?) - don't have to say now - it can wait!

Yes Steve, it is wider than originally shot. Much easier working with white backgrounds for this! Lighting? I just bought myself a Bowens 500 twin head kit. That's probably a bit like the Alien Bees stateside. I've wanted them for ages, and as I've got my first paying gig next week I had to look *Pro*. Ha Ha I'm shooting cheese moulds of all things!

Iso, Excellent image. Presumably the emotion is that he's facing away...maybe in some kind of 'strop' ? Nice one.

I can see a theme developing here. Is this the same Photoshop-extended studio you used for your exhibition entry? Lighting looks very professionally done. What did you use?
