What a striking picture - those colours really stand out. If I have any criticism it is that the head of the critter is not in focus, whereas the rear of the body is. Nonetheless, a really good composition.

Don, I see with this one you've added a story and now I can see love in this picture (or at least understand that you love it). Don't they eat the male after mating ? Now if you could get a picture of *THAT* you'd have love and hate in the same picture :) and I suspect win the challenge ! Seriously though, I love the colour in this picture and texture from the leaves as a backdrop. Really nice pic.
