The sheep pops out even as it is held in by the framing. Lots of nice things for the eye to enjoy. -tv

I think Baaa is sheepish for "hurry up and take the pitchure allready". Great timing Bob I mean Booooob;) Greg C.

He, (she?) doesn't seem sad to me...more curious...and not afraid either. A direct quizical stare....nice earthy tones also. Traveller

Thank you Mary Anne, Lydia, Penny (... you have a 'thing' for sheep EH?... lol), Nico and Vikas for your thoughtful comments.

I went on a mission especially to shoot something 'earthy' and saw this fallen branch in the sheep paddock so waited until I could frame this and the sheep went 'Baaa' just as I clicked the shutter... not sure what she was saying ( I reckon something rude in sheep speak?)

Nico, I decided that all of my entries this time would have no PS for a change, except for raw development and sizing.

~ Regards Bob (p.s. I Geotagged this image)

Lovely framing Bob; very very nice. The branches and the sheep in the middle really makes this photograph special plus the direct gaze. Cheers, Vikas

Well done, Sir. (And also nice to see something which differs from your signature-style PS work!) Somehow the sheep looks rather lonely and sad to me... I kind-of feel sorry for the animal... And I guess that is a compliment to your photograph: that it is able to involve the viewer and evoke emotions too. Regards Nico

This whole thing is composed well, the shadows, the branches. And the sheep is good looking too. Great job! Penny Street

I thought the same thing. Creatively framed with the branch. I wish the other eye wasn't lost in the shadow... black is so hard to photograph. ~Lydia

Very nice framing of the sheep, Bob.
