Nice story and poetic, surreal image. -tv

You know, Mr. Ayton, Sir, that's a pretty decent extraction I did here....and you taught me how to do extractions! Really, everything goes around. Best Wishes, Traveller

That's good to hear Trav... I am sure your worth to him and his family is much more than you give yourself credit for. Hard to put a price on 'support'?

If you overtalk, then I'm the biggest blabbermouth there is. I just can't help myself about sidetrack stories sometimes. *grin* I like your stories. There aren't enough of them. ~Lydia

Thanks, Lydia, sometimes I worry that my stories are a little out there...or more to the point, shouldn't be said. Be that as it may, I do admire my Dentist a lot, as a man, as a human being....I'm sure he's got troubles like any of us....but considering how well I know him and how nosy I am poking my way in other people's business....I am genuinely surprised there isn't any real badness attached to him...in any way.

This is a bit unusual.

For anyone.

Just a good person...now that is strange! (lol...but also really)

I like the story even better than the the image, Trav (and I like the image). There is goodness in the world still. Thanks. ~Lydia

A funny story on my Dentist...He's semi-famous, I suppose, and spends four days a month rebuilding people's shattered faces for a well known university and as a charity. He does a lot of good in the world.

When I met him he frankly told me that I could not afford him...and I can't. Because of my jungle time, genetics and whatnot....my teeth are very bad and needed a lot of work.

He's still working on them for free ten years later. I am terrified that one day he will send me a bill...lol.

Be that as it may, when the D60 came out and cost $2,200.00 dollars new...he bought me one. He's a Nikon guy and I'm Canon but could not afford the D60 then.
So he bought it for me.

There's nothing gay in any of this, he's married with a bunch of kids...and I've done some stuff for him...important stuff, for free, but still nothing that important...but maybe important to him. Maybe very important.

Be that as it may, he has been very good to me.

What the hell....(maybe my Dentist treats me like you do your brother...you know, he's just good to me for no reason like you're good to your brother for no particular reason...except, why not be good?)

Of course, there is an implicit understanding, if my Dentist, his family or friends needs anything...I am there for them...immediately.

And I have been.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Do you realise that your teeth probably paid for this rig?.... I think.... if he had any sense of 'fairness' he would give this rig to you Trav?

What are your negotiating skills like? ;-)

My Dentist's chair...my Dentist's camera also...what I really wanted was him and his assistant working on the camera with drills and picks and whatnots while I shot from above....but we needed a ladder, which we didn't have....and besides, other patients needed treatment not our tomfoolery.

Still, to ground this, I did have to go find a field of flowers...and I just knew that in some odd way that this image would work constructed even as it is here.

Thanks for the thoughts
