Thank you, Melb. This image is stongly on-topic, not in it's luminosity contrast, but in color contrast. The definitions supplied in the rules explicitly stated that contrast of color is indeed contrast. This is the classic, undeniable contrast of reds and greens. :) ~ Lonnit

This is a really beautiful image Lonnit it really has a very high dynamic range covering the complete luminous spectrum. Love the detail and balance you have achieved here.

Interesting to look at the RGB histogram, the green channel is the one that peaks highest but the mean is only approximately 79 and standard deviation approximately 55. (apologies for the stats) this is telling me that it is a good example of a HDR composition.

So... what does that all mean... well strictly speaking it is not on-topic because the contrast has been contained... compressed? ... but who cares... I love it.

I would be interested in comments from others because I certainly am far from any sort of expert, and I am happy that you posted this. It is a very beautiful composition.
