Alexis, thank you. :) No, I did not hanged him - he were smiley guy! I likes you accent! :) :) :)

Gerry, I did really laugh out loud at the head comment! :D It's the well-blown highlights that give it the contrasting pop. :) ~ Lonnit

LOL! Lonnit a slight error in judgement may have caused you to miss the most important part of the subject, the head.........

......seriously though this is a good example of achieving contrast through juxtaposition of more subtle tones. This is not extreme and has considerable detail in the mid-ranges but has strong contrast all the same. Nice work! -mcbit

Thank you, Lydia. Again, there's a bit of Lucis Art here. Not so difficult. :) ~ Lonnit

Some day I'd like to know what steps (actions?) you use for these kinds of photos, Lonnit. You really do them well. But, I said that before... *sigh* ~Lydia

This is beautiful as well Lonnit and spot-on looking at the stats.

Looks like a monochrome but has some beautifully subtle tones which of course make it a colour image.

I love the crisp focus which allows the textures of the clothes to take their place as an important component of this composition.

Good title and the crop is appropriate because it seems to direct one's attention to the 'character action' and confirm the statement.

Great Post ~ Regards Melbob
