It is difficult to choose between the two, but this one perhaps wins by bear-ly a nose... due to the bee which you captured so well. Great work! Regards ~jnconradie

The bee looks perfectly in focus to me and seems to be the most important part of the image. If I did anything to this image it would be to crop out the blue sky and maybe a little up from the bottom. It would change the aspect ratio but would leave the bee in the top two thirds of the image and would get rid of some minor distractions. But even those changes are not necessary - it is a delightful image just as it is! ~Sharon
Sharon, Man you are fast! Thanks for the comments. I'm not really satisfied with this one. The focus is not quite right, and I think there's too much distracting detail near the bottom of the frame. However, the bees are not very active today, so the chance of a reshoot is minimal. I do have a couple others with butterflies with similar problems. -- Victor
