6th Place Tie
Jumping into the Light *

Chula Vista, CA

I used the challenge topic to take more photos of my favorite model,
my daughter Madison. I had her bounce up and down on the trampoline
in our back yard and shot upwards toward the sun. Now that I can see
again, I have sorted through the shots and found this one to be my favorite.
I hope you like it too. You can see a few others at http://www.thewauds.com/gallery/Random

It's definitely better without that building. Did you try to use fill flash? Did it work?

This pic is great as is!

Perfect line-up with the sun. I bet you two had a lot of fun shooting this! Cindy

No doubt about it - it is better this way, without the building. Great shot! --Olaf.dk

Thank you for the comments. I have made a new version without the house and replaced the old image with the new. Is it better? Here is a link to the old image . Thanks again -Earl Waud

Earl, this is a truly wonderful image and taken well. I do recommend either clone out the entire house at the bottom or preferably, crop the image as horizontal without the butt and along with it, the ugly house (sorry if the house belongs to you...it's not really ugly but it just does _not_ belong in this photo well.

Earl,

I do like this one a lot!!! This is very cool. The sun is in the perfecvt spot and the hair is great too...the building/house gives a nice perspective/reality to the photo. The only nitpick I have is the image seems slightly out of focus...but on a shot this cool it doesn't take away from the photo.
Nice work.
:-D

PS. Did they ever take the vote off of the looking up challenge for my photo? I hope they did...If not, do you know who we could check in with to remedy this?
