Thanks for kind comments. I developed the B&W image to bring out the sinister elements, a kind of "film noire" so to speak. It could have been made into a lighter scene but I liked the "murder about to happen" mood of the B&W image.

For my tastes, the color version is superior to the B&W version. I find it more warm and inviting. –Earl Waud

Love the composition - light - shadows - textures. Would have also been a nice entry in "Negative Space". I think the color is a matter of taste . . . but personally I would favor something inbetween the two - not quite as orange as this one, but still nice and warm feeling. Cindy

The color one wins my vote as the better of the two. The black and white looks too sterile in comparison.
