Roberta, this image is perfect! The composition, the refractions, colors and the geographic lines draw the eye through the image. I don't care if this fits any one particular photographers definition of photographic... it's just wonderful! Thank you for sharing this. Markjay

When I look more at this, in the abstract way, I feel tempted to crop off a sliver on the right - to create more pleasing proportions between the white wall on the left and the "hole" on the right. As it is here, they are too close to being equal - but it doesn't take much to get it just so! --Olaf

At first look, I thought: Hmm, what is graphic about this? But when I started seeing beyond the details, abstracting the photo in my mind, a composition which is very graphic in its nature started emerging: the white square (wall) the horizontal of the black seat the vertical of the person and the dab of red. Next to that a different plane with a vertical yellow, the repetition of the black horizontal seat behind the glass, the L-shape of the floor etc., etc... I can see the abstract painting that could come out of this: a descendant of a Mondrian - a more advanced Mondrian. I am tempted to draw a parallel to Shu's image here:http://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/image/33759629 . Like hers, this requires the viewer to abstract the image, void it of detail, for the graphic nature to step forward. Wow, I admire that graphic eye of yours - to spot this on on the spot?!?! --Olaf
