Thanks for all the comments. If you look closely, you can see two sets of feathers through the right wing's flight feathers. The larger set is the left wing's flight feathers, while the smaller set is the right wing's scapular feathers. --Garrett

Is it the other wing visible, or is it just the feather formation on the front wing appearing that way? Regardless, great shot of a difficult subject (exposure-wise). Loads of detail. Phil
Hey Garrett, nice shot! I like the details, the claws, ditto on being able to see the other wing thru the first. Its amazing isn't it when you can stop to see things around you and capture it, I am glad I pick up this hobby :) 2 more months and it will be a year in photography, lets hook up some time to shoot :) - Ferdinand
