Hi Scott,

Thanks for the link, the kits look good and the price seems right. I've marked that for my next "Honey Please" purchase.

Thanks for the compliments, for this picture I have two small floodlights on each side of the pieces to eliminate as much shadow as possible. The background and floor are white poster board.

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive lighting solution, I just upgraded my lights and bought a low cost three light set from Smith-Victorhttp://www.smithvictor.com/ .They are nice and a lot easer to manage the using you house furniture for light stands.

Hi Scott,

Great image, I like that you didn't do this on a chess board, makes this a lot more original. I like the way the image is sgemented as well. The lighting is nice as well. I've asked Angela on hers as well, can you comment on your lighting please. I am looking for input on equipment and technique.

Scott, I love chess, and I love seeing all the opposites here. Beautifully lit. It has sort of a gradiated feel too it.. like a fade. I really enjoy the way my eye travels over every pair, and then I get that yearning.. to play. -- angela :)
