African Wattled Lapwing - Vanellus senegallus - Lelkievit
Africa south of the Sahara.
The following 2 subspecies are being recognized:
Vanellus senegallus senegallus - Senegal and Gambia to Eritrea and Ethiopia, south to North-Uganda;
Vanellus senegallus lateralis - South-DR Congo and West-Kenya south to North-Namibia and East-South Africa.
