The Lookout (II)

Local disused quarry converted to an 'up-market' housing estate.
A feature is a lake from which this ladder emerges complete with larger than life individual peering through binoculars.

That is interesting?... I darkened the perimeter but did not crop which verifies the fact that the rainbow thingies were a distractor.

Wow, cloning out that distracting stuff really makes this a much stronger image! Did you also crop it a little? The globe seems larger than I remember. With the colored clouds around the outside edges it looks a little like one of those glass paperweights with the little planet inside. Good job, Bob! ~Sharon

In fact I just talked myself into making the change, I erased the rainbow effect and trimmed some of the perimeter as well.

I think it removes the distraction? I notice that PBase displays the image a little lighter than my PS version so I need to compensate for that. (Spose I should set my gamma properly... lol) ... Bob

Yes, me too Sharon. I was in 'two minds' about cloning them out, I think it would look better.
My second thought was a little 'tongue-in-cheek' thought that it was a reverse rainbow... straight rather than following the curvature of the planet?... but perhaps it should go?

I love the shape of the lake in this. I am not sure about the magenta beams in the upper right. I know they are an artifact of the process but I am unsure if they should be left or cloned out. The bendy ladder is a hoot! ~Sharon
