I looked with much interest at your photos, Clive. I am planning a trip to Daugavpils in April and hoping to find out what happened to my father's family. He was born and brought up and there and left in 1905. I have many letters from Daugavpils in Yiddish up till 1923 and am hoping to get some translated, hoping they will shed some light. I just hope someone will be able to translate them.
