Our South Pacific cruise
On board the Carnival Legend cruise ship - food
The danger with letting your imagination run wild, or listening to people who have never cruised,
is that you can have preconceived ideas of what to expect. Food was no exception. Would I have
to be content with quality and quantity akin to school camp food or cheap Las Vegas style buffets
of old? A fun ship equates to kids, would adults be served up chicken nuggets and chips too?
My concerns were soon allayed. I was impressed with the variety and quality, the service and
hard work of the crew. With its casual dining and excellent range the Lido Deck was our 'go to' place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its changing buffet, food stations, grill, pizza and soft serve
icecream all included in the cruise cost as was Truffles Restaurant I sampled also.
I have dedicated this section to some of the ship food I tasted or saw while on board.
