Our South Pacific cruise
On board the Carnival Legend cruise ship - our Stateroom
Having read and heard that midship is the most stable, I chose a cabin
(stateroom) on Upper Deck 5. Carnival Legend has 11 decks. Having studied
the deck plan I didn't want accommodation that was near or above/below clubs,
pubs, lounges, pools, dining or other potentially noisy areas. We opted for
a balcony room - but with an obstructed view. This gave us doors, view and
fresh air without the higher price tag. Our 'obstruction' was a life boat just
below. I enjoyed multiple sunrises, sunsets, balmy sea breezes, wicked desserts
and quiet times on our balcony. House keeping attended twice a day and each
evening we would find a new towel animal creation, along with a copy of the
daily newsletter, Fun Times, sitting on our bed awaiting our return.
