Our South Pacific cruise
Carnival Legend cruise ship at Sydney

We flew up to Sydney from Melbourne the day before our cruise departure.
Staying in The Rocks area meant we were nice and close to the Overseas
Passenger Terminal. It also meant I could go for a early morning stroll
to watch our ship, Carnival Legend, arrive in Sydney around sunrise. She
had just completed a voyage from Honolulu through French Polynesia. That
same night she would be commencing our 11 night South Pacific cruise!
I did not have to venture far to see the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge
and Sydney Opera House - they were right there as backdrops!
