The window on the right one down from the tall window is the window where Lee Harvey Oswald fired his shot. You can see a little box in the window.
The ground floor windows were covered with some type of grid in the 1960s. I have a picture of it from that time, but don't know how to include it here. Pbase won't let me copy and paste.

I only remember this building seeing in B%W on a TV screen back then. I was 13 Years old and the news shocked me! Great documentary work here! V
