Birds of a Feather

Bonnie Carrie Spillway

Gayle and I were in the spillway at the crack of dawn (well maybe the echo). There were birds flying from one end to the other. Egrets, herons, ibis and stilts to name a few. This shot has three different kinds in it, the great blue heron, snowy egret and the lesser egret.

Nice flight capture. White birds in high light are difficult.

Nice action photo. I like the way the great blue seems like he's watching all the activity.

Great catch, Breland. I chased that heron all over the Spillway and never got one shot. He is a cagey guy.
