The Hernals Cemetery is located in Hernals, near the border with the Währing district, in the cadastral communities of Dornbach and Hernals. It was built on a slope of the Schafberg hill and borders the Dornbach Cemetery. The cemetery covers an area of 161,019 square meters and contains 21,864 burial plots. It is the seventh largest cemetery in Vienna.
