24.01.2004

Dashing around this morning between the kitchen and the lounge I caught the smoke from the insence stick dancing away in the sunlight and my self induced turbulence. You must have watched these things before and wafted a newspaper or something to change the smoke patterns. You haven't. Right. OK. LOL!! It just so happend that the camera was left on the dresser last night right next to the burner stand, didn't have to think twice, PotD, ding! LOL!!

I love this picture! It's just wonderful the way the smoke spirals up into the air. Great photo!

Not much to add over the previous comments - a spectacular picture!

Sorry... I did this on the 28th not realizing it was done better by you on the 24th! Having so many PaD people makes it difficult not to come up with something someone else did, but doing it on almost the same day is worse! :) Anyway, beautifully done!

I mean, really, this is just incredible !!!

This one I like just a bit better. The smoke twirls (not sure what the *technical* term would be) are a bit more symmetrical.

Great subject for your PAD.

Terrific idea Ian, and this one has the edge. A tough call. I see that your subject matter is becoming really unique. Something to do with windsurfers and apples? ;-)

Guest 24-Jan-2004 18:46
That's another great shot idea I'll have to try. Well handled as always Ian.
