Lake Nakuru National Park

Nakuru in Kiswahili means "Waterbuck Haven".
Currently, the fenced Lake Nakuru National Park covers around 90 square miles and is one of the few places in Kenya where both White and very rare Black Rhino can be seen.
The lake itself is a shallow alkaline lake which at times can play host to upto 2 million Flamingo's.
Many Kenyan school children visit this Park, some travelling for about 4 hours to get here.
