Well, it was a long time ago when I was baptized with Rock, Punk and New Wave.

Actually it was 1977, I was 15 (yes, I was born in 1962 and you are authorized to consider this web site a sort of midlife crisis...).

That year 3 major musical events shaped my mind:
1) A friend bought me "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway", by Genesis: I still love that record...
2) I went to London on vacation and I was on a bridge on the Thames looking at the Queen boat passage during the Silver Jubilee... Well I saw and heard for the first time in my life the Sex Pistols, arriving on another boat: I still have scars for trying to buy "God Save the Queen"!
3) David Bowie released "Heroes": it's been love at first listening: Brian Eno electronic infrastructure with Carlos Alomar guitar are still part of my dreams. The wonderful B&W portrait of David Bowie in the cover of that album also had a great influence in my future photographic taste.

So I started to go to concerts and to learn how to use a camera: from 1978 to 1987 I shoot several pictures and I was also able to sell it to various musical magazines.

The best shots are still in some magazine office, these are the "leftovers" I recovered in my cellar.

I hope they will trigger in you the same memories and feelings of a great musical age: the end of the 70's and the 80's.
