Iggy Pop

The Iguana is a living myth.

He has been working with the most innovative and provocative artists in the Rock and Punk scene.

I liked him with The Stooges, but I prefer him in his solo career: "Lust for Life", Iggy second album, is one of the album I would have in a desert island.

"The Passenger" is a modern poem with a great guitar riff.
His first solo, "The Idiot" was still spinning on the turntable when Ian Curtis (Joy Division singer) was found in his room.

I saw him in Milan in 1980, he did not bring with him David Bowie, but the live act has been memorable...
Diving from the stago into the crowd, using glasses on his chest until he bleedeed and, at the end of the concert, he was jumping naked on the stage singing "Here comes Johnny Yen again, with liquor and drugs and the flesh machine, he's gonna do another strip tease..."

Well, Iggy on stage was, definetely, one of the most impressive concert I attented: after 27 years that energy is still around!
