Peter Gabriel

Peter Gabriel has been one of the musicians that intrigued me a lot: he kept renewing himself many times from the Genesis time.

In the beginning of the 80s he started experimenting the new fronteers of the electronic music, computer music and ethnic sounds.

Peter Gabriel has been one of the few (the other ones were The Residents) capable to fully understand, use and leverage the unbelievable possibilities offered by the Fairlight CMI.

Well I took these picture while he was recording for the Italian TV a video for his big hit of that time "Shock The Monkey", but i also love many other songs from him: "Biko", " The Family and the Fishing Net", "I Don't Rememeber", "Intruder", "Family Snapshot", "Not One of Us".

I am a fan of P.G., but I am even a greater fan of Kate Bush, who used the Fairlight wonderfully on my favorite, The Dreaming.
