And so here we are, back where we were only a few hours prior, but this time in the morning rather than the evening. The ferry is crossing St Mark's Basin on approach to its dock. The most prominent feature is of course the San Marco Campanile, the bell tower of the church of the same name.
The former ducal palace is off to the right.
