The famous, slowly sinking city in a lagoon.

Venice needs no introduction. Sadly we didn't get to see very much of the surrounding Veneto region on our 2016 trip.

What is less well known is that in the west of the province you find Verona, the reputed home of Romeo and Juliet and a very nice little city that was worthy of more than the couple of hours that we had to explore it.
