There is something about this house's design that makes me think of Lego architecture. The slight boxiness, the angular lines, the unusual angles of the roof. Still, it seems to be a neat and presentable place and quite liveable, affording great deal of light when the blinds are open anyway.
Interestingly, a few doors back from this (not included in this gallery) there was another house of only two stories with a similar roof design. It was probably designed by the same architect, and perhaps built during the same period. However that one had been maintained rather badly, with a roller door on the ground floor looking very rusty and in need of repair and the yard desperately in need of close encounter with my Ryobi 36 volt lawnmower.
This one, on the other hand, is extremely well maintained and the residents are obviously quite house proud. As they have a right to be.
We have just passed noon, so half our day is gone and the first stage of our journey is rapidly coming to an end.
